British greeting card industry pull together to help everyone connect with loved ones

Publishers and retailers from across the industry are pulling together to support their local communities and encourage people to send  a card to stay in touch with loved ones, particularly those alone, during these challenging times.

Sending a card is a positive way of keeping in touch with loved ones we can’t see but really want to hug at the moment; receiving a card brings a powerful connection “It’s intimate – imagine how it feels to see the handwriting of someone you love, especially a child no matter how old they are”. Dr Lynda Shaw

The British greeting card industry leads the world in greeting card innovation and design. Sending cards is a British tradition and we continue to send more cards per person than any other nation. It’s a leading British creative industry  supporting the livelihoods of a wide range of people from artists and designers through to printers and retailers.

Over the coming weeks we will be sharing on our gallery images of uplifting cards to cheer us all up. Most will also have a link to the publisher if you would like to buy and send to a loved one.
