Consumer press coverage in the run up to Thinking of You Week has so far ranged from The Daily Telegraph’s GoodNews newsletter to My Weekly and a host of family bloggers!
Sarah Ebner, the head of the Daily Telegraph’s Good Newsletter (where the emphasis is on good news stories!) chose to include Thinking of You Week in her latest mailing, on 17th September. With a link through to the TOYW site and a mention on twitter, Sarah was drawn to the idea that cards are a great way to keep in touch. She also touched on the historical aspects of card sending and even finished her piece encouraging her readers to contact her with their own greeting card stories. The tag line of the newsletter is “Stories of support, community spirit and positive news” so Thinking of You Week fits right in!
The best-selling women’s title My Weekly is running a competition on its online site, with something similar the focus during Thinking of You Week itself of online and social media by family bloggers Yorkshire Wonders, Tantrums to Smiles, Real Mum Reviews and Super Busy Mum. Look out for their posts on social!
And if you haven’t bought your cards yet head to your local High St this weekend.
