Designing from Lockdown in Southern Italy

Anna Victoria, a design studio specialising in contemporary art cards and paper goods was originally established in Cornwall in 2010. However since marrying her Naval officer husband and silent partner, she finds herself living in lockdown in Southern Italy.  Anna supplies many wonderful independent outlets across the UK and overseas with her cards and she continues to design from her studio in Naples, Italy.

Most recently taking inspiration from the challenges as well as the heartwarming deeds that the Coronavirus has brought about across the world, Anna has created 4 new designs under the title of ‘Lockdown Love’, featuring the rainbow icon, which has become a colourful symbol of positivity and hope. Across the globe we have seen families and businesses proudly displaying hand-painted rainbows in their windows and here in Italy we see rainbow banners hanging from balconies on every street corner with the words “Andrà tutto bene” which means “Everything will be ok.”

To try and bridge the gaps caused by the global lockdown, AV has joined forces with The Imaging Centre back in the UK to sell her cards https://media.theimagingcentre.co.uk/ICSD_storeFront@home.html

While the UK remains in lockdown, AV are giving 100% of their profits from the sale of cards through the Imaging Centre’s Simplicity Direct to charity.  The money will be split evenly between supporting the NHS (www.nhscharitiestogether.co.uk) and Mercy Rescue Trust (www.mercyrescue.co.uk).

The AV family continues to grow, as Anna is due to give birth later this summer, so you can be sure that there will be some fun Italian baby designs coming off the press very soon.
