Thinking of You Week Collaboration with Teacher’s Post Magazine

by | Sep 22, 2016 | News

In another strand to our lovely Thinking of You Week campaign, the GCA has collaborated with Teacher’s Post, Royal Mail’s magazine for schools and teachers.

The magazine has given the its front page to Thinking of You Week with a full page article on page two, explaining why cards are so special and create such a strong emotional impact on the recipient.

There is lots of encouragement to teachers to organise card making, writing and sending events, with a special offer of free packs of 30 cards for school classes to write together, all supplied by GCA members, and the chance to win a prize for Best Thinking of You Week School Event from the GCA. All schools are eligible.

“The Teacher’s Post team, headed up by Barry Wiles has been a joy to work with,” said Sharon Little GCA CEO. “Not only have they given us the coverage, but they’re putting together all the packs of cards and sending to the schools. I’d also really like to thank all the GCA member publishers who have combined to supply thousands of cards free of charge for the offer.”

If you would like a set of 30 cards for your class, please call Royal Mail Education on 01795 426465, or you can email requesting a set of cards to: royalmail@edist.co.uk, or you can send a letter for free to Teachers’ Post, Royal Mail Education, FREEPOST RTKG-YLYY-TZXB, Castle Road, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3RL.

To enter your school into the Best School Event competition, send an email to Sharon Little at gca@max-publishing.co.uk, telling her about your event. A picture tells a thousand words, so we’d also love to see some photos of the event. Please send all your info by Friday October 14th 2016.
